Jagannath Temple in Ranchi, is a 17th century temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath. It was built by king of Barkagarh Jagannathpur, Thakur Ani Nath Shahdeo,
in 1691. Completed on December 25, 1691,it is located about 10 km from the main town. The temple is on top of a small hillock.
The temple has been built on a hill top. To reach the top visitors can climb the stairs or take the vehicle route. There are many steps and the climber
needs to rest intermittently before resuming. People also take the vehicle route leading directly to the top .

<H4> The Jonha Falls (also called Gautamdhara Falls) is a waterfall located in Ranchi district in
the Indian state of Jharkhand. Situated at an edge of the Ranchi plateau, the Jonha Falls is an example of a hanging valley falls.
The Gunga River hangs over its master stream, Raru River and forms the falls. One has to descend 722 steps to admire the surroundings.
Water in the falls drops from a height of 43 metres (141 ft).

Rajrappa is a Hindu pilgrimage centre attracting an estimated 2,500-3,000 persons daily.The main attraction of the Chhinnamasta (also known as Chinnamastika)
temple located here is the headless deity of goddess Chinnamasta which stands on the body of Kamdev and Rati in the lotus bed. The Chhinnamasta temple is
very popular for its Tantrik style of architectural design. The temple is very old but has that essence of enchantment.Apart from the main temple,
there are ten temples of various gods and goddesses such as the Sun God and Lord Shiva.[2] Animal sacrifice is still practised in the temple.
The sacrifice is offered on Tuesdays and Saturdays and during Kali puja.

Hazaribagh Wildlife Sanctuary (earlier called Hazaribagh National Park) is a wildlife sanctuary in Jharkhand, India, about 55 miles (89 km) north of Ranchi.
It was established in 1955. Nestling in low hilly terrain, at an average altitude of 615 metres (2,018 ft), it has an area of 184 km2 (71 sq mi) and is
home to sambar, nilgai, chital, peafowl, sloth bears, black bears, hyenas and pigeons. Earlier it was home to tigers, leopards, and many more animals but
now rarely animals other than nilgai and hyena are seen.

The beautiful Canary Hills are situated 3 km away from the city of Hazaribagh. There is a park which is well maintained by the authorities and small
beautiful lakes are situated in the area. There is an observation tower from where tourists can enjoy the enticing view of nature's beauty as
well as a view of the whole town.

Bhadrakali Temple is located in the outskirts of the revenue village Aharapada which is at a distance of 8 km away from Bhadrak town in the southwest direction.
The popular belief is that the name of the town was derived from the name of the deity.
The statue of the goddess is of black granite and is seated in lotus posture on a lion. The temple remains open for visitors and devotees every day
from 6:30 am to 1 pm and again from 3 pm to 9:30 pm. As per the nomenclature of the goddess one tends to believe that it is the goddess Kali who is
being worshiped in this Bhadrakali Pitha.
